Quality Course Design

Designing an online course is not simply delivering an existing course in a virtual format. Instead, it requires transformative thinking in how to translate lessons, core competencies, and learning outcomes in an online learning environment. In this four-week course, learn how to design an effective digital classroom that meets your institution’s standard of quality.

Creating a quality online course takes time. To help inform and direct your course development, it is necessary to identify practical strategies for evaluating your learning outcomes, course alignment, and quality frameworks. You want to shape an effective and engaging online experience that addresses synchronous and asynchronous concerns and diverse learner needs. In this four-week course, we’ll give you the strategies you need to purposefully integrate quality course design into your academic programs.

Whether you are starting out in the field or readjusting to the online learning world, you will be set up for success as you design quality online courses. After completing this course, quality standards will be easier to navigate and implement for better student experiences.

If you decide to enroll in four courses of our LX Live series, we’ll reduce the cost of the LX Pathways portfolio experience from $750 to $375 so you can build and enhance your online presence immediately.
